Quality Assurance

Our quality assurance programme has many layers which makes sure that we can be confident that we know what is happening in our classrooms.  From this triangulation, we can feedback, share excellent practice and learn what we need to do to grow further. Our quality assurance ‘layers’:

  1. Subject leaders plan their term’s quality assurance activities including work scrutiny, learning walks and student voice to share find excellent practice to share and look at how teaching and learning can be further developed.
  2. Whole school lesson observation;
  3. Formal lesson observations for our early careers teachers;
  4. Joint learning walks between subject leaders and senior leaders;
  5. Senior Leader walkthroughs look at the implementation and impact of school policies including ‘The John Kyrle Way’.
  6. We invite trust colleagues to conduct regular quality improvement visits.
